On the Blog:
This week we shared “6 Reasons to Raise a Tinkerer” – highlighting the benefits of encouraging a childhood love of coding with robots, drones, and other connected toys – and we spoke to Featured Maker Tyrus about how he is sharing his love of coding with family and friends! We also announced our new full integration with Clever, a tool that teachers and administrators can use to get the most out of their Tynker subscription!
Tynker in the News:
Tynker was feature in a back-to-school post on the blog Kelly’s Thoughts on Things! Kelly sees Tynker as a great way to inspire and empower kids to become future makers. Also, Halifax Citizen mentioned Tynker in their article titled “Learning code not just for tech gurus.” We love their focus on how learning to code is a vital part of 21st century child development!
